Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of darulislams.com and to all classes provided by Darul Islam Online Quran Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website, registering, or attending a class, you agree to these Terms. If you register a child, you agree to these Terms on the child’s behalf as their parent or guardian. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Our Services
We provide live, one-on-one online classes for children and adults in Noorani Qaida, Quran Reading, Quran with Tajweed, Hifz (Quran Memorization), Quran Translation (Urdu), and Islamic Studies, delivered through an online video platform. Course descriptions on our website are for general information and may be updated.
2. Eligibility and Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to register, or be a parent or guardian registering a minor.
- You agree to give accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s device, internet connection, and appropriate use during classes.
3. Free Trial Class
We offer a free trial class so you can meet a tutor and experience our teaching. No payment is needed to start, and you are under no obligation to continue.
4. Plans, Classes and Fees
- Our plans include a Weekend Plan and 3, 4, and 5 days a week plans. Class length is 30 minutes, except the Hifz program, which uses 1-hour classes.
- Fees are charged monthly in US dollars as shown on our Pricing page. We may change our prices with advance notice, and a change will not affect a month you have already paid for.
- Fees are due in advance, before each month begins. You are responsible for any bank, transfer, or currency conversion fees.
- If a payment is late, we may pause classes until it is received.
5. Scheduling, Attendance and Rescheduling
- Class times are agreed with you at the start and may be changed by mutual agreement.
- Please join on time. A late class ends at its scheduled time.
- To reschedule a class, give us at least 24 hours notice.
- If we or the tutor cancel a class, we will offer a make-up class.
6. Tutors and Teaching
Our tutors are qualified and experienced, and most are Huffaz-e-Quran. We may change a student’s tutor because of availability or other reasonable circumstances, and we will let you know in advance wherever possible.
7. Student Conduct
Students, parents, and guardians must treat tutors and staff with respect. You must not harass or abuse anyone, share inappropriate content, or disrupt classes. We may suspend or end services for conduct that breaches these Terms, and refunds, if any, are governed by the Cancellation and Refunds section above.
8. Class Recordings
We may record classes for quality and safety purposes and will handle recordings in line with our Privacy Policy. You must not record, copy, or share any class, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
9. Learning Outcomes
Progress depends on many factors, including the student’s practice, attendance, and effort. We do not guarantee specific results, memorization timelines, or exam outcomes. Our monthly report card is our assessment of progress at that time.
