Why Busy UAE Families Struggle to Keep Up With Quran Learning
Life in the UAE moves fast. Parents commute between emirates, children juggle school, homework, tuition and activities, and evenings disappear in traffic. A Quran class at a centre across town, at a fixed time, is often the first thing to be dropped.
Islamic Education at school covers the basics, but it can’t give every child daily, one-on-one correction of their recitation. Local Quran centres often teach in Arabic, which many children from South Asian families can’t follow. And private home tutors are costly, hard to schedule, and mean welcoming a visitor into your home several times a week.
Darul Islam Quran Academy was built around these problems. Your child learns at home, live and one-on-one, with a qualified tutor, most of them Huffaz-e-Quran, who explains every lesson in Urdu or English. You choose the days and times, classes continue wherever you travel, and a Monthly Report Card keeps busy parents up to date.

Classes That Fit the UAE Week, in Gulf Standard Time
Since the UAE moved to a Monday-to-Friday week, with Saturday and Sunday off and many schools finishing early on Friday, family routines have changed. We don’t use a fixed timetable or a list of slots: tell us the days and time you’d like, in UAE time, and we’ll assign a tutor for exactly that slot. The UAE doesn’t change its clocks, so your class time stays the same all year.
Travelling for the summer? Bring your classes with you
When schools close for the long, hot summer, many families travel home. Keep the same tutor and carry on from Pakistan, India or anywhere else. We’ll adjust your class to your local time there, then switch it back when you return.
Popular times with UAE families
- Friday afternoon, after Jumu'ah and an early school finish
- Early evening, once school, tuition and homework are done
- Saturday and Sunday mornings
- Late evening for working parents learning themselves

Questions UAE Parents Ask Us
Do your tutors teach in Urdu, English or Arabic?
Lessons are explained in Urdu or English, so children from South Asian and other expat families understand every rule. The Quran itself is always taught in its original Arabic.
How do classes fit the UAE's Monday-to-Friday week?
You choose the days. Many families book weekday evenings and use Friday afternoons or the Saturday–Sunday weekend for extra practice.
Does the class time ever change?
No. The UAE doesn’t use daylight saving, so your class stays at the same UAE time all year, unless you ask us to move it for Ramadan or travel.
Can my child take classes while we're at work?
Yes. Classes happen online at home, so your child can join while you’re at work, and you can sit in whenever you’re home. The Monthly Report Card keeps you updated.
Can we continue during the summer holidays abroad?
Yes. Keep the same tutor while you’re in Pakistan, India or anywhere else. We move the class to your local time there and back again when you return.
How is this different from a private home tutor?
There’s no visitor in your home, no tutor travel time to plan around, and timings are flexible. Fees are fixed and clear each month, with a Monthly Report Card on progress.
Are female tutors available?
Yes, for girls and women. Just mention it when you book your free trial class.
How much do classes cost in the UAE?
Plans are AED 120 a month for 2 days a week, AED 140 for 3 days and AED 200 for 5 days, with 30-minute one-on-one classes. Your first class is free.
