Online Quran Classes in Australia for Kids & Adults
Long drives across the suburbs, weeknights full of sport, and a mosque class that only runs on weekends: Quran learning is hard to fit into Australian family life. Darul Islam brings live one-on-one Quran classes home, with a qualified tutor at a time that suits you, from Perth to Sydney.

Why Quran Learning Is Hard to Fit Into Australian Family Life
Australian cities are spread out, and so are their Muslim communities. For many families, the nearest mosque or Islamic centre with a Quran class is a long drive away, and classes often run only on weekends. After school, the week is already full of homework, sport and training, so Quran learning gets squeezed into whatever time is left.
In regional towns, mining communities and smaller cities, there may be no qualified Quran teacher nearby at all. FIFO and shift-working parents struggle to keep a regular routine. And children growing up speaking Australian English often find it hard to follow lessons explained in another language, so they learn to repeat without understanding.
Darul Islam Quran Academy solves this with one-on-one classes at home. A qualified tutor, most of them Huffaz-e-Quran, explains every lesson in clear English and corrects each letter as your child reads. You choose the days and times in your own time zone, and a Monthly Report Card shows how your child is progressing.

Classes in Every Australian Time Zone
Australia has three main time zones, and only some states change their clocks. We don’t work from a fixed timetable or a list of open slots: tell us the days and time you’d like, in your local time, and we’ll assign a tutor for exactly that slot. Mornings, after school, evenings or weekends all work, seven days a week.
Daylight saving, state by state
NSW, Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia change their clocks in October and April; Queensland, WA and the NT don’t. Whichever state you live in, your class stays at the same local time, and we adjust on our side. If your family moves interstate, just tell us your new time zone.
Popular times with Australian families
- After school, before sport and training
- Early evening, after dinner
- Saturday and Sunday mornings, around weekend sport
- School holidays, for extra practice

Questions Australian Parents Ask Us
Which Australian time zones do you teach in?
All of them: AEST, ACST and AWST, with or without daylight saving. Tell us your city and we’ll schedule classes in your local time.
My state doesn't use daylight saving. Does that matter?
No. Whether you’re in Queensland, WA or the NT, or in a state that changes its clocks, your class stays at the same local time all year.
Can online classes replace or support weekend mosque classes?
Either. Some families switch fully online; others keep weekend classes for community and add one-on-one classes during the week.
We live in a regional area. Can we still join?
Yes. All you need is a laptop, tablet or phone and a stable internet connection, wherever you live in Australia.
Do classes continue during the school holidays?
Yes. Many families keep their usual classes during term breaks and the summer holidays, and some add extra days.
Are lessons explained in English?
Yes. Tutors explain every rule in clear English, so children growing up in Australia understand what they’re reading rather than just repeating sounds.
Are female tutors available?
Yes. Mention it when you book your free trial, and we’ll match your daughter, or you, with a female tutor.
How much do classes cost in Australia?
Plans are A$45 a month for 2 days a week, A$65 for 3 days and A$90 for 5 days, with 30-minute one-on-one classes. Your first class is free.
