About the course
Islamic Studies is the study of the faith itself: what we believe, how we worship, and how we live as Muslims. It gives students a clear, complete foundation of Islamic knowledge, from the Pillars of Islam and the way of Salah to the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Seerah) and the basic beliefs of Aqeedah. With this foundation, faith becomes something you understand and practise with confidence.
At Darul Islam Quran Academy, Islamic Studies is taught live, one-on-one, by a qualified tutor, and most of our tutors are Huffaz-e-Quran. There are no recorded lectures to watch alone. In every class your tutor explains each topic in simple language, answers your questions on the spot, and helps you practise what you learn, whether that is a Dua, the steps of Salah, or a lesson from the Seerah.
The course suits young children beginning to learn their faith as well as adults who want to strengthen their knowledge. No prior knowledge is needed. Classes are patient, encouraging, and set at your own pace, and parents receive a monthly report card showing exactly how far their child has come.

Course Curriculum
Lessons follow a structured Islamic Studies plan. Your tutor moves to the next lesson only once you’ve understood and practised the current one.
Who Allah is, why we worship Him, and what it means to be a Muslim
Belief in Allah, angels, books, prophets, the Last Day, and Qadr
Shahadah, Salah, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj
Learning, reciting, and understanding the six Kalimas
Steps of Wudu, Ghusl, and the rules of cleanliness
Steps, Surahs, and Duas of prayer, with live practice
Duas for eating, sleeping, travelling, and everyday life, with meanings
His life, character, and lessons for us
Inspiring lessons from the lives of the righteous
Honesty, kindness, respect for parents, and good conduct
Regular review to confirm understanding and retention
